Blade Runner was an absolute mess. A disturbing piece of garbage that maniacs considered a movie. This was an absolute waste of my time and I wish to erase all elements of this crap movie out of my brain.

Loved the soundtrack ❤️‍🔥 Maybe I’ll watch it again or look up a deeper explanation of everything bc it seems like one of those movies where you miss certain details the first time around unless u know to look for them.

For a movie made in 1982!!! It looked AMAZING (like early 2000's type), I'll give it that.
BUT, the lack of story and character development, music, and just slow scenes completely took me our of the movie.
Like it had so much potential to be great but it just ended up being weird

SCRIPT(4): Had some alright parts like tears in the rain
CINEMATOGRAPHY(10): visuals are what made this movie
ACTING(6): meh outside of a few
PLOT(2): story made no sense outside of a cool idea
SOUNTRACK(8): I really liked the music

OVERALL: 6.0

wtf😭 i understand that this is a cult classic and all but it’s just objectively not good😭 i’m gonna choose to view this as nothing more than a shitty prequel to blade runner 2049

(final cut 2007) was great to enter into this dystopian sci-fi world for a little while and feel immersed in it. i feel like the plot wasn’t clear but it was only my first watch. the last nexus 6 replicant seemed to be the main character at the end…?

I kept falling asleep and then waking up to flashing lights and synth music. I don't know what happened.

How have I never seen this before? This is a perfect 10 in terms of background and set cinematography, acting visuals, and plot lines. The fact that this was so thoroughly made over 40 years ago is incredible, and the technology commentary still holds up today. Must see 2049 now.

The single most immersive and tactile world ever created for the cinema. It's a quest movie - where one thing leads mechanically to another to another to another. There are no twists. It's noir only in atmosphere and expressionist lighting schemes.

Great soundtrack and a great neo-noir masterpiece. You might need to watch a YouTube video to understand the plot however

Was expecting so much more from this movie. The visuals were incredible, super immersive world building and definitely top tier 80s sci fi in that respect. But the plot was really shallow and confusing. Like what’s with the unicorns? And why is Roy giving off Twin Peaks creepy vibes at the end? There was definitely so much potential but it really fell short. I’m hoping 2049 is better

Re: “The Final Cut” - this is a near perfect film.
I would’ve appreciated more “dream” sequences. For me personally, that subplot felt very / too subtle

I wasn’t expecting a film from 1982 to have such good quality ngl. Interesting plot too, wouldn’t never watch it if it were for my class but I’m glad I did watch it

Seen this movie a 1000 times and it’s still one of the best ever created. Gritty sci fi at its finest
