Absolute steaming hot pile of cycling action. I felt no need to connect to the characters as the development felt so weak and misdirected, other than that it was pretty.

better pacing and imo a more engaging and less repetitive plot than the first movie (both are good though)
there were some freaky/cool effects, especially the reapers, not all of them looked amazing though
i liked him teaming up with the other vampires

Better than the first movie. Great action, solid story, and interesting plot twists. Writing had inconsistencies and lacked character development.

the complete new idea hooked me up almost immediately, and I preferred it to the first one way more.

They tried to make the film more fun than the first one, but it's just too kitschy to be good. Everything that made the first one a success makes this one a bad film.

Great fights, timelessly fun effects, spooky creatures, gnarly music and Snipes oozing cool. Phenomenal sequel. Underutilized Yen.

It was good. Some improvements for sure but also some misfires. The cgi was pretty bad and overused but I respect the attempt, especially for the time this came out. Reveal at the end was good. Some really solid moments. 5/10
