This is a movie that I have a hard time discussing. It’s a work of art from a cinematography standpoint, and every actor does a phenomenal job. I’m at odds whether this is an amazing look at mental health or a terrible one. Definitely worth watching.

Shooting a movie to make it look like it's one take is so absurdly difficult that I commend every single person who worked hard to make this movie happen. 8/10

Birdman in my opinion is perceived to most people, a movie about how you should never give up and stop trying when really it’s about how society can change your life with they’re perception of you being “washed” “not talented” or “a nobody” even if you you are giving your all 9.6

really amazing story - phenomenal acting performances from keaton, norton, and emma stone - kind of shocking how they took the whole thing in one take: it just really adds to the cinematic beauty of the film

9/10 this movie isn’t for everyone but the ones who like it will love it. Deep, psychological, metaphorical, impacting.

Give it a small thumbs up. Was ok and an interesting and unique filming technique which was cool, but the story was dull.

what was exactly the point of this movie…

A lot of films claim to be different, Birdman is. Birdman is everything you want movies to be: vital, challenging, intellectually alive, visually stunning, emotionally affecting.

There’s isn’t much you can say with only 280 characters but trust me, it’s worth your time

A fantastic watch. The character development in this film is outstanding. The story was told phenomenally at such a quick pace, you couldn’t really look away or you’d miss something. Some really well done shots, and good one-shot storytelling. Amazing acting! The theme was great!

Inspiring story for all bird men

Made me think of how almost everyone has fantasized about being famous, they’re just not sure what for.
I’m not entirely sure what to think about this movie after only one watch, but I enjoyed it. Amazing camerawork and even better acting

Still don’t really understand the superhuman aspect, but still a good movie

Had some great technical achievements, the cinematography and the way it was played out like a one shot deserved the Oscar because I loved it. The characters were pretty good, maybe some of the side characters could have been explored a little more, like what was happening with Riggans wife and the female actress. Overall I thought it was really unique and it had some great moments that are improved by the acting and cinematography.

My score: 8/10

very unique, well made, and amazing cast. however it just doesn’t hit for me like it does for many people

a different style of pace and a breath of fresh air. deeper meaning is fascinating to dissect as it is not clear to any average movie watcher. has fun moments and is well above average
