Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)

This is a movie that I have a hard time discussing. It’s a work of art from a cinematography standpoint, and every actor does a phenomenal job. I’m at odds whether this is an amazing look at mental health or a terrible one. Definitely worth watching.

Birdman in my opinion is perceived to most people, a movie about how you should never give up and stop trying when really it’s about how society can change your life with they’re perception of you being “washed” “not talented” or “a nobody” even if you you are giving your all 9.6

Shooting a movie to make it look like it's one take is so absurdly difficult that I commend every single person who worked hard to make this movie happen. 8/10

This was an amazing movie. Keaton was outstanding and so was Emma Stone. I did enjoy the unique story and the one long shot take. I found it too be worth the watch and did like it.

Edit: Previously a year ago, I had rated the film lower but overtime my option has changed.

I thought wow, amazing movie about broadway, theatre and a hard trying actor. But then the weird “black swan” kinda things starts going on and despite it being quite disturbing, it makes the whole story what it was. The interpretation is REALLY open, I still dk what happened fs
