I liked it more than I thought it would. There are some deep messages in it. There is maturity in the honesty and simpleness of children. There is so much value and joy in playing like a kid, don’t forget to find happiness in the little things. And don’t wish away your childhood.

Sweet movie

I’ve seen this movie so many times and I never tire of it! This movie always makes me wish Tom Hanks would do comedy again, he’s so naturally funny! This movie is so quotable too, it always seems to find it’s way into my daily quote rotation. It’s truly a classic in my book!

very cute and fun, didnt need to have the romcom aspect in my opinion, a little to pedopbdlic for me but at least after she found out she didn’t kiss him again, so respect. overall very very cute

I wanna’ like it but it’s creepy but cute I think it would have eased my mind if she chose to turn 13 with him

9/10 Many great scenes that will forever be remembered. When a film just needed a bit of magic but stayed grounded for almost the entirety of it. Nothing felt forced, and had a solid cast.

Definitely one of my favorite 80s family movies. Tom Hanks is great in this. 8/10
