#1 is one of my favorite movies of all time. This doesn’t compare but it’s still good and great to see the old actors back together

What a return for Eddie Murphy’s Beverly Hills cop! Great story, good 80s soundtrack. More characters introduced which was good including the daughter and some old favourites. So many funny moments and the film wasn’t boring at any point good runtime too 1 hr 54 mins.
Solid 8/10

Funny they definitely tried to put a modernization on the classics but I'm a sucker for the originals and I don't think they can be beat. 7.5/10

Just ok

Loved the movie. Lots of nostalgia moments from the other movies. Theme song is wonderful as always, and it’s just a great action comedy movie!

Now this is how you make a legacy sequel! When I saw this trailer come out my first thought was that they were gonna mess it up just like with Coming 2 America! However, I put my fear aside and watched it. And to my disbelief, I actually enjoyed the hell out of it!

Wasn’t sure at first. Didn’t know if I would like the daughter. Fell in love with the character later. Same with Lovett. I would watch a lethal weapon like sequel with him and Eddie. Callbacks great. Cameos great. Heavily leaned on OG soundtrack. You like 1/2 you will like it

Eddie Murphy slipped back into this role perfectly. I could've done without the daughter character and more Taggart and Rosewood.
