magnificent! conflict through the eyes of children. i knew things were getting worse & worse & yet i was overcome by the beautiful innocence with which the story is told. Buddy has my heart forever. there were bits where the symbolism was kinda overexaggerated tho.

A simple story told perfectly. Buddy is adorable and believable, his lived experience captured that of many children growing up during the early 60s. Beautifully shot and well paced

Its because of films like this, I didn’t tell my ex girlfriend’s Irish and protestant dad that I was catholic.

A simple plot which got the message across well. The simplicity both worked in its favour and against, but overall it was a decent movie with beautiful cinematography.
