it’s HEAVY on dialogue, if you don’t like listening to people talk for the entirety- then this movie isn’t for you. HOWEVER, it’s so raw and captivating. you literally watch two people fall in love. they nail it on the awkward pauses and small glances w/ first meeting someone

oh to be able to articulate your thoughts as well as them. the way they talked about things, the things they talked about, the way they shared their thoughts— it’s all so fascinating. it’s so great. i think i’m going to be thinking about this movie a lot. 27/9/23

One of my favorite romance movies ever😍The slow build up of the main characters connection and physical relationship along with the awkward eye contact avoiding scenes makes it very real to me. Script is 10/10. Leaves you wanting more which lucky for us there are two sequels:)

This be a really chill vibe, experiencing a spontaneous night with 2 people endeared with each other. Obviously the chemistry is just spot on, I guess it has the being lost in your 20s deal. I was surprised to see perspectives that hold up well with how we think about…

i’m gonna be honest i fell asleep watching this movie it had potential but so oddly unrealistic for this day and age but would’ve been better with anyone but ethan hawke he simply isn’t meant for a role like this 😭😭 3/10

This friend of mine had a kid, and it was a home birth, so he was there helping out and everything. And he said at that profound moment of birth, he was watching this child, experiencing life for the first time, I mean, trying to take its first breath... all he could think about was that he was looking at something that was gonna die someday.
He just couldn't get it out of his head. And I think that's so true, 1 mean, all - everything is so finite. But don't you think that that's what, makes our time, at specific moments, so important?

Yeah, I know. It's the same for us, tonight, though. After tomorrow morning, we're probably never going to see each other again, right?

We, maybe we should try something different.
I mean, it's no so bad if tonight is our only night, right?
People always exchange phone numbers, addresses, they end up writing once, calling each other once or twice...

Right. Fizzles out. Yeah, I mean, I don't want that. I hate that.

I hate that too, y'know.

Why do you think everybody thinks relationships are supposed to last forever anyway?

Yeah, why. It's stupid.

I didn’t think I could be so entertained by 2 people talking for 1.5 hours, but it really did capture a talking stage and just wanting to know what someone else thinks about everything. The phone scene was genius. The connection between the characters was so good.

Much different than what I thought the actual film was going to be. The film has some great conversations and doesn’t actually feel like i’m watching two actors. I wish the arrogance of Ethan Hawke’s character was questioned more though.

yes. just yes. sooo raw and intense without being boring (if you don't like dialogues this isn't for you tho). cringed sometimes, they pissed me off sometimes, but that makes it gooddd! it's so unrealistically (because let's be fr this does not happen very often lol) real.

Script was fantastic, dialogue interesting and fresh, characters likable and realistic. Only reason I’m not crazy confident in its rating is its length, definitely drags at the halfway point, but picks back up near the end.

Two strangers meet on a train and spend a night walking together. Nothing extraordinary, yet that’s where the magic lies. The film captures the beauty of conversation and the intimacy of fleeting connections that linger, change you, and make you cherish life’s passing moments.

Never watched a love story like this. This move is based on its dialogue which is perfectly executed. The perspectives, the connections were so beautiful I loved it so much. This is what it means to be living it’s the connections that are only real to us and no one else.

It's just usually it's myself that I wish I could get away from. Seriously, think abt this. I have never been anywhere that I haven't been. I've never had a kiss when I wasn't one of the kissers. Y'know, I've never, um, gone to the movies, when I wasn't there in the audience.’ >
