Be My Cat: A Film for Anne

this movie didn’t really have a point, it was just weird and it kind of felt like an ableist/harmful portrayal of mental illness/autism to me

If i was Anne Hathaway i think i would’ve sued this movie by how scary it is 😭 The realism in every character made me feel like i was watching a actual found footage. The ending may be disappointing to some but i like the realistic end and how it keeps us waiting for more.

If you enjoy films that intentionally make you feel uncomfortable, you’d enjoy this. Although it may not be as good as other found footage horror movies that strive to create uneasiness ( “Creep” my personal favorite), it is a creative, creepy, and all round a “hidden gem” 6.5/10

There was nothing frightening about this movie. If anything, it was really awkward, even the killing scenes. Maybe it would be awkward from Anne Hathaway's perspective but it's okay. Even the killing scenes were really subpar and the blood was too light a color to be so against 'an unreal scene'.

An example of good found footage, the last girls acting in the final act was amazing.
