Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Reviews

The movie has flaws without a doubt, but it still packs a punch. If you do watch make sure it’s the ultimate edition. Henry Cavill is a standout, Affleck’s Bruce/Batman is good. Not sure what they were thinking casting Eisenberg as Lex. Save him for someone like The Riddler. 4/5

Absolutely loved the uncut/deluxe version!! Glad it was the only version I ever saw, so much important stuff was left on the cutting room floor!!

So I gave this movie another shot after I don't know how many years and watched the ultimate edition...and it was amazing, so initially the pacing was what I didn't like, but after rewatching, cmon, it's amazing, really engaging, BUT I do understand why some people don't like it

8/10– it was okay, the batman trilogy is better, but nice plot twist in the end

Batman shouldn’t be killing people. Batfleck’s suit sucks. Jessie Eisenberg shouldn’t have been Lex Luthor and most of his stuff is boring. (sadly) The first hour is relatively boring with some entertaining bits every once in a while. However… (rest of review commented)

A lot of people hate it cuz of the pacing of the movie but honestly the movie was enjoyable. 8.5/10

I have this feeling that I’ve watched this is in cinemas but I can’t really remember, gotta ask my dad because I remember watching it with him. Batman is fucking terrifying in this one.

I feel that I goes without saying that this was very disappointing and overall a bad film. I will say that with all the films failings the most notable aspect to me that made it really crumble was the lack of a really good villain. Man of steel was made good by Zod

The ultimate edition is amazing, better than man of steel. Awesome movie! Gives us the origin, of Batman from the DCEU perspective. We get some great action sequences with just Batman beating the crap out of criminals like every Batman movie should have.

Absolutely love this movie. I stand with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill and will forever mourn their absence from the DCU. The Snyder verse had so much potential and was destroyed by Joss Whedon. Honestly the dude deserves to step on a Lego bare foot every morning and stub his toe on every door frame for the rest of his life. Anyways, this version of Lex was fun and overall the movie was an absolute blast and perfect build up for the justice league (Snyder cut that is)
