Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

The movie has flaws without a doubt, but it still packs a punch. If you do watch make sure it’s the ultimate edition. Henry Cavill is a standout, Affleck’s Bruce/Batman is good. Not sure what they were thinking casting Eisenberg as Lex. Save him for someone like The Riddler. 4/5

Absolutely loved the uncut/deluxe version!! Glad it was the only version I ever saw, so much important stuff was left on the cutting room floor!!

This movie is such a mess - the only good things I can say is that I like how it holds superman accountable and some of the action sequences are cool - other than that it sucks - the characterization of batman and superman is so bad - ben affleck is my favorite live action batman but he is written so terribly, his motives for hating superman makes no sense because he is written as this mass murderer - lex luthor is terrible and his character ark makes no sense - the whole grim and dark atmosphere in this movie just supports the bad things in man of steel - the martha scene is one of the worst things I have watched in my lifetime, it’s such a disappointing end to their conflict, like you’re telling me just because his mom is also named martha, you’re just gonna be chill, what is that - the whole movie just felt out of control and rushed because they felt the pressure to make up for lost time for the DCEU and introduce more justice league characters - overall very disappointing
