Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

The movie has flaws without a doubt, but it still packs a punch. If you do watch make sure it’s the ultimate edition. Henry Cavill is a standout, Affleck’s Bruce/Batman is good. Not sure what they were thinking casting Eisenberg as Lex. Save him for someone like The Riddler. 4/5

Absolutely loved the uncut/deluxe version!! Glad it was the only version I ever saw, so much important stuff was left on the cutting room floor!!

I think i liked this a bit more than Man of Steel. Especially Eisenberg as Lex Luthor was really good. Batman was a great edition opposite to Superman. I also liked the action, so overall it’s good for a Superman movie.

Despite featuring a fantastic performance by Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot's electrifying debut as Wonder Woman, the film is marred by a convoluted plot, poor pacing, and a relentlessly grim tone.

• Visuals: Zack Snyder's direction creates stunning, painterly compositions.
• Score: Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL's soundtrack is powerful, especially Wonder Woman's iconic theme.

Weaknesses:

• Plot: The screenplay is overstuffed, convoluted, and often nonsensical.
• Character Development: Superman is underdeveloped, while Lex Luthor's portrayal is bizarre and irritating.
• Tone: The film's grim tone is exhausting, making the runtime feel like a joyless ordeal.
• Final Battle: The fight against Doomsday is a noisy and incoherent mess.

Ultimately, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a beautiful-looking disaster with incredible potential wasted due to poor storytelling and character development.
