Batman Forever

I was 50/50 with this. The plot is fairly non existent and the movie feels and looks like a theatre show. Kilmer is ok as Batman without really doing a lot. Carrey and Jones as the villains are unbelievably OTT. It’s saving grace is the non stop action scenes. Guilty pleasure

After the gothic parent-nightmare that was Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, they wanted a lighter, more kid friendly version of Batman. With that in mind, I think this movie does that well. It’s fun and campy while also staying cool and Batmany.

Kilmer was actually a surprisingly good Bruce Wayne/Batman

I know a lot of people hate on this Batman but I really enjoy Val’s Batman. 6.5/10

Was my childhood Batman movie… first one I was allowed to watch as a kid, went to see it with my dad… just to see the batcave and car for the first time was epic…! Val Kilmer was a good Bruce Wayne r.i.p…
