Batman Returns

6.6 - it’s campy & everything about it is unhinged: the costumes, the hair/makeup, the dialogue, the acting from Devito, Pfeiffer, and Walken, & the Tim Burton-ness of the whole thing. It’s also dark thematically. But it’s shallow (esp MK) & far from the “Batman” I picture.

The best thing about this movie compared to the first one is that there is no Vicki Vale.

Honestly really great, J enjoyed this one a ton. It was so fun and the tim burton flair made it so much more enjoyable with my tastes. The villains were great especially penguin and this movie has such a darkly moody charm to it which is perfect for batman. True comic movie 7/10
