Batman Returns

6.6 - it’s campy & everything about it is unhinged: the costumes, the hair/makeup, the dialogue, the acting from Devito, Pfeiffer, and Walken, & the Tim Burton-ness of the whole thing. It’s also dark thematically. But it’s shallow (esp MK) & far from the “Batman” I picture.

Oswald > Joker

The best thing about this movie compared to the first one is that there is no Vicki Vale.

Michael Keaton was a good Batman. Before my time, but still watched it.

Tim Burton movie thru & thru - super bizarre & quirky. The music & aesthetic are a strong suit, and DeVito is really entertaining as the Penguin. But the story & characters left me pretty uninterested, and the entertainment value comes mostly from it being goofy & off the rails.
