Batman Returns

6.6 - it’s campy & everything about it is unhinged: the costumes, the hair/makeup, the dialogue, the acting from Devito, Pfeiffer, and Walken, & the Tim Burton-ness of the whole thing. It’s also dark thematically. But it’s shallow (esp MK) & far from the “Batman” I picture.

The best thing about this movie compared to the first one is that there is no Vicki Vale.

A hot take but I enjoy this more than the first one. As much as I love Nicholson Joker… I somehow like Devito Penguin more? That doesn’t even feel right to write down but
