5.1 - I know this angers some Disney purists but I fall in the “this is boring” camp. The animation is gorgeous & detailed, & the score carries a ton of weight, but the first half of the story is just walking around a forest & the second is so ridiculously over the top horny for a kids’ movie that I was almost uncomfortable having my kiddos in the room during it. Overall, it’s fine & it’s incredibly important in the world of animation, but it’s just absolutely not for me anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a lovely movie! But i was such an emotional kid that I remember crying through so much of this movie that I only watched it once or twice.

Did you know this movie for its time was considered a horror movie due to conflict of war going on during that period because it felt to close to reality to audiences of its time

Bambi
people who are rating it poorly aren’t appreciating it for the time it came out lol, sure it lacks depth in todays standards of movies but that doesn’t mean it’s not good

Bro, like fuck all happened. The animation was nice I suppose, but apart from that, just meh. Normally if nothing happenes but the vibes are good I'd be happy... but the only vibe I got from this movie was boredom.

Visually, this movie is beautiful. Bambi is one of Disney’s earliest animated films, and its narrative focuses on the animals of the forest and the cruel reality of how they face the dangers brought by hunters.
Bambi’s mother’s death never made me sad (not even when I was a child), although I know it deeply affected and traumatized many people. I miss the classic animation style that Disney used to create, and I hope that someday they make more 2D animated films again.

Bambi
Bambi is probably one of Disney’s saddest stories, but it’s also one of its most beautiful. Watching Bambi grow from an innocent young fawn into a strong and courageous deer is an unforgettable journey filled with love, friendship, loss and hope. It reminds us that life isn’t always easy, but even through heartbreak we can keep moving forward. The animation is stunning, the forest feels full of life, and the emotional moments have stayed with generations for a reason. It’s a timeless Disney classic that never fails to make me emotional, no matter how many times I watch it.
