Bad Boys for Life Reviews

It got worse on rewatch. I remember this being fun, but it's clearly 90% forgettable. The chemistry felt completely off between almost all the characters, and the plot was terrible. I can tell the new directors were inspired and stuck by Michael Bay while creating something original, but it felt nothing like the last two Bad Boy movies. I'm glad they brought some nostalgia, talented stunts/choreography, and an old/new soundtrack because it makes it likeable. Other than that, the camerawork, jokes, acting, casting, and script gave me a pounding headache.

Of course love the characters I love the story line and how they made each a little softer this time around. Can’t wait for the next movie

did not expect this one to be this bad. i’m slightly disappointed, i expected something fun and different from the other two, but instead i found the movie so dull and boring, unnecessary even.
i hope the next movie will heal what was damaged by this one.

This was such a good film! The graphics and comedy was amazing, the story was really interesting too

This was decent but the story got convoluted and the chemistry (aside from Mike and Marcus) felt off. It was cool, however, to see how Will Smith’s acting has improved drastically since the ‘90s when he just relied on swagger to carry his performances.

With a clearer schedule, I threw this on to enjoy my free time. I thought a late sequel would miss, but Will and Martin’s chemistry completely hooked me.

What Worked:
• Will and Martin haven’t missed a beat. Their natural banter gives it genuine heart.
• The new AMMO team brings a fresh dynamic against the old-school cops.
• The action is rad. Slick car chases gave me that classic blockbuster vibe.

The Friction:
• The villain’s plot felt overly dramatic, leaning way too much into a soap opera vibe.
• The middle really dragged for me. Too much exposition instead of fast-paced action.

Verdict:
Watch for a fun, nostalgic buddy cop ride. Skip if you hate predictable tropes or cheesy melodrama.
