I hope Sam Taylor-Johnson burns in hell for being a predator and creating this disrespectful monstrosity of a movie. This movie is choppy and paints Amy differently than what she really was.
If you want to learn about Amy or if you love Amy DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!

I dislike anything made by a groomer.

This was frustrating to watch. It made it feel like Amy cannot do anything without a man and falls to pieces without one. It doesn’t focus on the amazing things she did or her talent. Just on everything she did wrong. Also way too long.

they misinterpretate her relationship with father, there is LITERALLY NOTHING about the working process of Back to Black and there is more less about her multicultural influences and her ideas. She was not just a rebel teen, she was a genius

Back to back unwatchable. I'll start off by saying I'm not much of an Amy fan, but she was definitely talented. The casting and acting in general was terrible. More importantly, I couldn't see the Amy resemblance at all, even in costume. I don't blame the actors because the script has some of the clunckiest writing I've ever witnessed. I could predict the words like a spell checker. The music kept me invested for around 30 minutes, but it wasn't enough for the choppy pacing. Nothing felt original or worthy of my time, so I turned it off. I'm yet to see a musical biopic I genuinely love.

"Back To Black" isn't the monumentous story it's wants to be, but I think if you're looking for a small snipit of a troubled celebrity's life, then this is the movie for you. It featured a strong lead performance but lacked the emotional punch it should have carried. 6/10

The music is fantastic in this. I liked the movie but after reading all the comments and reviews on this movie, I feel like I need to see a different biography on her that highlights her inspirations more. Her relationship with Blake and the negative moments in her life are highlighted more, definitely coloring her in a way that makes her art dependent on her trauma. I think there’s more than that. I’d love to see a different take on her craft.

Fucking incredible. This is how Amy is supposed to be portrayed. The movie focused on her accomplishments and her beautiful soul, and not on her hardships, I think Amy would be proud. The acting, music and cinematography was absolutely breathtaking. A must see if you love Amy.

While the film may focus more on Winehouse's personal life than her musical life, it proves to be a compelling and satisfying film, thanks to its departure from genre conventions and a more intimate approach to her life.

Kinda mid ngl. The movie felt very much like nothing was happening and the events are in a fairly confusing order. It’s also clear the parents had a large influence on the movie since it’s a very nice happy picture of Amy and hardly highlights the alcohol abuse she went through.

if this wasn’t about Amy it would be a beautiful movie, Amy was a genius girl and the movie didn’t make her to be that. 8/10

The main actor is a Walmart Winehouse in every department. Doesn’t look like Amy and DEFINITELY doesn’t sound like Amy. Main actor wanted to be a star and try to sound like her but is so vocally flat and dog 💩. Stain on her legacy
