Comedy? What? This gave me nightmares as a kid. Haven’t rewatched in years though.

A fun balance of horror and comedy, even if I’m not scared of spiders. The realistic arachnid work is impressive, & the small town setting enhances the tension. Overall, it’s okay. A quirky mix of horror and comedy, but not particularly chilling unless you’re scared of spiders.

In any other world this should play out to be a mediocre thriller, however, it ended up being one of the best slasher via arachnid films ever.

wouldn't watch again but the final fight scene saved the movie from being a total wash
