good movie but I’m just telling you now, mark my words, tom hanks is an agent of the devil

Did not enjoy this movie as much as I thought I would. Too much lead up and boring interpersonal drama for a movie all about surviving space. Tom hanks is also in too many documentaries/drama/feel good movies for me to see him as any character other than Sheriff Woody

9.6 - This was a movie I watched probably a half dozen times with my dad, as a space obsessed kid. Right up there with Jurassic Park & Twister in the “never a wrong time to watch” set.

So it felt appropriate to watch for the first time in years on the 8th anniversary of his passing.

It may be that bias but it’s an all time favorite. It’s beautiful, it’s well created by the entire A-List ensemble, it tense and paced well, & has a fantastic feel-good ending. Ron Howard’s best film I’ve seen by far.

Don’t have much more. Miss you, Dad.

It’s not a horror movie so meh

Ein guter Film über das Drama der Apollo 13 Mission.
Die Besetzung ist gut, jedoch kämpft der Film etwas mit dem Pacing. Es gibt durchaus Passagen, die recht langatmig sind.
Der Wert zum erneut schauen ist für mich eher wenig gegeben.
