Omfg this was the most sexually violent movie that I have ever seen. My roommate literally had to leave the room. I’m all for gory horror films but my god not when it has to to with Willem DeFoes penis

If you are looking for continuously blood, jumscares, persecutions and screaming this is NOT for you.

… idk what to say after watching that. Not a bad movie but it’s not for everyone ! Both William and Charlotte played their roles well but geez.

Might be just the sequel that 'Nymphomaniac' never knew it needed.

Rating - 3.4 💀

This is the 5th of the 100 horror movies in my 100 horror movie challenge and I give this weird ass movie 3.4 💀. Just was not the flick for me.

A grieving couple are getting over the death of their son and the mother is being treated for her grief by her husband. When they decide to face her fears and go into the woods things don’t go as planned.

This started slow and once it got going, it just fell flat for me. Now it is a very artsy movie and I’m not usually a fan of this type of movie. The acting is ok, the way it’s filmed just pissed me off, and you’ll be left wondering WTF on more than one occasion. It’s not even as brutal as some have said. Just not a good movie and wouldn’t suggest it. If you’re into art and horror you might give it a chance but I didn’t say anything.

Good movie, the self mutilation part made me wanna jump out of my skin.

Sooo long and odd

This film is best known for its infamy, and for good reason. it's not a watch for everyone but if you are up for the intense and disturbing images and ideas, then you'll be experiencing a film incredibly unique, thought provoking, and emotionally potent.

lowkey a beautiful movie cinematic wise but overall it was boring asf and then it just turned weird, its one of those movies you need to watch a few times before you get it though since the director is quite the sneaky fox putting hidden meaning on a lot of things. overall 4/10

4/10 I don’t even know what I watched. It was weird as hell. Best part was seeing willem Dafoe playing this dodgy role

A lot of sexual scenes, such a random story.

I get kinda what this movie was going for but maybe it's too pretentious artsy for me to fully "get" but it mostly left me confused and saying "huh wtf was that" especially the ending just didn't make sense

another wtf mate kind of movie. There is lots of sex and gore in this. Lots of dafoes ass and lot of penis (which I hear was a stunt penis since dafoe is too large). Fun little anecdote for you. Very elevated horror crap with interesting shots and imagery and it absolutely bored the shit out of me. Not as disturbing as I was lead to believe. But it’s still too graphic for most of you.

It was good and all…but it was also utterly disturbing and creepy tbh

I found Antichrist both mesmerizing and exhausting; the visuals are stunning, but the constant shock tactics drained me. It felt more like an ordeal than an experience I’d want to revisit.
