this movie sucks so bad i wish it had more annabelle since y’know… that’s kinda the title of the movie… however it was fun to watch with the jumpscares, i did talk through it with my bestie though which made it slightly less boring, was just corny and generic

6.6/10 it was ok nothing crazy. it took a little to pick up but the jump scares and creepy aspect was great behind the movie. also the pov shots and classic pans were cool. the correlation to the annabelle creation was also apparent but it was very subtle throughout the movie

Annabelle often teases us with what it potentially could have been. It lays out a promising premise but it never goes beyond the routine run-of-the-mill horror flick that we have seen over and over.

Plot definitely lacked substance, Annabelle: Creation was a more enjoyable watch and makes this one pretty disappointing. I do like how it ties together with everything specifically the beginning scene and had some good scares.

its honestly so bad the scene where the priest gets yeeted into mid air, the blood splatter looks so fake and the entire movie is just soo boring

I really love this movie. They did so many things right with this one. It’s scary to this day, and I’ve seen it heaps of times. Great story and great characters. It is very scary and so well made. The pacing is great. Awesome scares. In my top 3 Conjuring Universe films. Love it!
