Animal Crossing: The Movie

Very cute and incredibly nostalgic. But also very all over the place, and it threw me off that the characters’ names are different than they are in the game.

Very strange ending for this film. It featured plot elements that felt very random but in the end did make connections to the overall plot. As strange as the ending was, the overall feel to this film fit the original games very well. It had surprisingly funny characters + moments

Animal Crossing: Wild World is my favourite game in the series so when I heard it was available in movie form, it was an instant must-watch. If you like slow slice-of-life movies, this is just a wonderfully animated cozy experience that I love to rewatch every now and again <3
