I watched Ponyo as a kid so rewatching it again was like nostalgia and being back memories of childhood. It’s a fun loving movie that anyone could watch and enjoy. I could watch it over and over and still enjoy it each time.

Probably the worst Studio Ghibli movie I’ve seen

The soup scene is peak comfort cinema.

the animation of this movie is super awesome, very lively and colorful and sets the tone for the story super well - liam neeson and tina fey rlly killed these voice roles as well - plot feels like a combination of the little mermaid and luca but in a great way - love the concepts and themes of environmental consciousness
