Anyway, the performances are meh, except for maybe the kid and Hauser. The story is great, but the pacing is choppier than Sweeney's fake speech impediment. The satire saves this from being a dislike by a mile. Some scenes had me in comedic disbelief, and others just had me underwhelmingly bored. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it or rewatch it, but... it's not a bad film.

I don’t think this movie is nearly as good as the several movies it takes inspiration from, but I still definitely enjoyed it for what it is. It’s an entertaining ensemble movie with a unique cast of characters that have fun quirks. I thought the relationship between the two main characters was super sweet and was really rooting for them. There’s a ton of different plots going on in this movie, and I’m not sure I can say what the main point was though. There’s also a lot of things shown that wish they had flushed out a lot more like whatever was going on with the girls religious family. Overall I still liked it more than I expected though.

Other than Sydney Sweeny’s terrible attempt at a speech impediment, I liked it a lot. Just my opinion but I think Halsey stole every scene she was in.

all this did was remind me why i hate westerns 2/10

This was a fantastic movie all around, all the actors were great and the characters were all so interesting in there own ways.

I actually really enjoyed this… I definitely cried at the end. it was pretty and tender and frightening at times with undertones of chaos, but it culminated into a beautiful film. Loved the acting and HALSEY😻

Definitely lacking in strong performances, but I really enjoyed this story. The film’s atmosphere really stuck out to me, and Halsey’s acting was surprisingly good.

Similar to the underrated and better Vengenace, this is a neo western with some fun side characters. Leans more into comedy than drama, and has more kills than you'd expect. Sweeney isn't the lead, but I find it funny they think her having a stutter would make her unattractive.

Sydney Sweeney’s great here; tough, messy, and real. The movie’s kinda all over the place, but that chaos works. Feels like a weird mix of Coen Brothers and small-town crime drama in a good way.
