Anyway, the performances are meh, except for maybe the kid and Hauser. The story is great, but the pacing is choppier than Sweeney's fake speech impediment. The satire saves this from being a dislike by a mile. Some scenes had me in comedic disbelief, and others just had me underwhelmingly bored. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it or rewatch it, but... it's not a bad film.

I don’t think this movie is nearly as good as the several movies it takes inspiration from, but I still definitely enjoyed it for what it is. It’s an entertaining ensemble movie with a unique cast of characters that have fun quirks. I thought the relationship between the two main characters was super sweet and was really rooting for them. There’s a ton of different plots going on in this movie, and I’m not sure I can say what the main point was though. There’s also a lot of things shown that wish they had flushed out a lot more like whatever was going on with the girls religious family. Overall I still liked it more than I expected though.

Other than Sydney Sweeny’s terrible attempt at a speech impediment, I liked it a lot. Just my opinion but I think Halsey stole every scene she was in.

I went into this film totally blind, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it definitely wasn’t what I got. I saw that this was described as a “modern western”. It just wasn’t done as well, it was kind of all over the place . Sydney Sweeney continues to impress me with her range.

Surprisingly decent film. Good cast with some decent performances. A good story and battle scene. A Good Watch.
