Absolutely fantastic movie. Hoffman and Redford were great together. There was plenty of suspense and intrigue. Highly recommend.

Great historical movie of perseverance against seemingly impossible odds. Wild story. Just wish payoff at end wasn’t so abrupt.

Entertaining watch, one of the better newspaper movies. Hoffman great as Bernstein, feels unique from other roles he has played.

A grounded investigative conspiracy thriller. I liked the unique ways they would come up to dig up the info. Only thing I wished was that they could have explained certain people and terms for the benefit of those who don’t know much abt it.

Ohhh that was gooood

Investigation movies are tailor-made for me, so this didn't need to do much to suck me in. But there are elements that do go above and beyond, like the stark cinematography. Great, subtle performance from Robert Redford. Occasionally the plot is too complex for its own good.

I LOVE an investigative journalism story. This movie laid the groundwork for Spotlight (one of my all time favorites) to be made. Fantastic watch

Underwhelming ending

Awesome!

I’ve always wanted to watch this but never got around to it for one reason or another. Was this film good? Yes. Was it interesting? Absolutely. Is it great? Perhaps at the time, but not 40 years later. It just left me with so many questions and wanting to know more.

This is simply a masterclass in acting.

Redford is piercing, Hoffman is swift.

I had the privilege to watch this in a theater and my goodness did I make the right choice.

It’s a wild hunt for clues in this big bold puzzle. Insanely good, keeps you hooked on to the chair.

I love this one, I read that there was or should have been a part 2.

Really great dialogue and despite some of the subject matter not being the most interesting the film was well paced and a good watch.

I hate cigarette smokers but watching the cigarette get ashed out on the sofa was so funny!
