The CGI is atrocious, let’s get that outta the way. But this movie does not deserve the hate it gets. Great suspense and a dark, murky tone make this one worthwhile. Critics needs to get over themselves, this movie is actually good! A heartbreaking finish.

my least favourite in the alien franchise by far, idk how its possible that the Aliens in this movie looked worse than the original when the first 2 hold up so well, I also found the story and stakes less interesting and by killing off the girl it made the 2nd film pointless 2/10

How do you top Alien and Aliens? Short answer you don't. Fincher's debut film but considering he had no script when asked to films it's a miracle it came out as semi competent as it did. A rather slow dull affair with only a few decent parts. Overall just mixed.
