I really love Adam, but the way everyone else around him treated him (except for Harlan) made this such a hard watch

the movie itself was mid but the idea, man, it was wonderful. The whole point of the hard choice, to stay with a person who loves you out of pity, even though you now he could handle without you or to choose yourself. How to choose freedom without feeling selfish

This movie has a way of slowing you down to enjoy life. I don’t know if it’s the music or the pacing but this movie feels so calm. Adam’s innocence makes him charming and interesting. He struggles in the world, but he always finds a way to be fine. Also Hugh has a way of portraying what it’s like to be extremely uncomfortable and he does that amazingly with Adam. Now Beth?! A part of me wants to hate her but I understand her situation and her family. Lastly, shoutout to Harlan, he tried so hard to help Adam and Adam found a way to help him. Great movie.

Love Adam so much (I relate so bad) but other characters (Beth) treat him like a child. Good portrayal of an autistic character from Hugh and realistic (although annoying) treatment of Adam from others. I compared this a lot to my own experiences as an autistic person myself.

loved it but not ALOT. its really cute and shows more recognition to the asperger's syndrome and Rose Byrne with hugh dancy was a great cast pick for this movie.
