A Streetcar Named Desire Reviews

engaging and thought provoking  despite having not a single likeable character. that stairwell scene with marlon Brando in his ripped shirt… wow

While Brando gives a great performance in this film, I found Vivien Leighs performance as Blanche to be even more riveting . This is a profound, thought provoking film filled with twists and turns. This truly is one of those classics everyone should see. 8/10

stella! stella! corona light

good for English class

i hate everyone in this movie

I really despised Blanche😭😭 Stella deserved better. A classic movie that will get you mad. I watched it bc it was referenced in Gilmore girls and other films/shows (“stellaaaa”)

I hated every one of these assholes.

It was an okay movie. Tbh, there wasn’t a single likable character, but I guess it’s a classic and all that. I didn’t enjoy it that much.

couldn't stand blanche

Had to study it. I enjoyed it.

4.5/5

What a stupid f*cking film. Over rated.

This movie is gorgeous, well acted, and has a great story. But all the characters piss me off in one way or the other, and above all else, I would’ve loved it if Stanley’s fine ass died at the end lmao

One of my favorite plays ever and I have had the honor of playing Blanche Dubois myself. This movie is a tear jerker. Phenomenal.

INCREDIBLE ACTING, holy crap

Vivien Leigh delivered an insanely gracious performance in all things considered!

Thought this would be better.

While Marlon Brando may be a manipulative abuser, he was fine back in the day.

Hey Stellaaaa😩

great performance from all! it was a really great story somehow with absolutely no likeable characters which i think made it more intriguing
