I loved the telling of lives, beautiful shots and authentic dialogue throughout this movie. Loved the music and how it accompanies situations between them. Two cousins that have similar struggles about their past but deal with their lives differently as they reminisce on it. Those who struggle with their hardships externally and internally are displayed throughout and those that are almost in between.

In my opinion, I think each person from the tour group represented a way of life. David and Benji represent the two juxtaposed sides of those who live through life of grief, relationships and kindness and the rest of the group are those that can tend to lean to one side, but not as drastic as Benji or David. The “in-betweeners” can almost live through life with content and understanding, but those that are on complete edge have a hard time expressing their thoughts to the others without feeling misunderstood. Such raw and authentic dialogue made you love and have an interest in each character. You can’t help but feel bad and infuriated with Benji at the same time. Then you come to understand David’s struggle as well and feel heartbreak for both. There really wasn’t a huge build-up and “climatic” moment but I think this movie doesn’t need it as you go back and forth with characters much of the time. Loved this movie and the actors portrayals - highly recommend!

What a beautifully sad movie. Jesse Eisenberg is able to explain a feeling we all have for some people in our lives that words cant express. That feeling of feeling guilty for pittying a friend, all u want is for them to do good and they tell u they are but u just know they arent

Good laughs, great dialogue, great supporting cast. Ponderous and poignant. Beautifully shot. Makes me want to visit Poland even.

Parting thought: life is not meant to be lived one way. It is a rich tapestry of people living their own way. Just try not to sweat the small stuff.

Some movies are just so yummy for your eyes and your soul and this was like a full thanksgiving feast

The acting in this movie is great but I just couldn’t get into this movie. It is a very slow movie and has constant fighting and bickering and the intentional obnoxiousness was too much at times.

a bit confusing yes, but theres an unexplainable heaviness in my chest after watching this. the actors' performance was top-notch, and itll take a few rewatches to understand all the meanings. so much to analyze and interpret. a beautiful movie with truly stunning cinematograph ❤️

Well, Jesse and Kieran made me cry. I cried like three times and I could relate to both of them, so it was easy for me to empathize with both characters and enjoy the movie even more. Also, the restaurant scene was... tough but also well-written and acted

8/10. Loved the human elements of vulnerability, stages of grief and family dynamics. Kieran is brilliant!

Might have to rewatch but it was a nice little movie. I think it was a 90 minute runtime so def on the shorter side, the story felt kind of unfinished but I think that was purposeful. Cinematography was amazing, characters were likable. Maybe not the most memorable but a nice -

this movie resonated with me so much - this movie portrays a feeling that i didn’t even know how to materialize so perfectly - it’s crushing and depressing but also optimistic and beautiful - truly a movie that i believe will go down as a modern classic - crazy directorial debut too

A realistic take on what it’s like to be on one of those “geriatric tour groups” in Europe as well as relatable characters involved… they all seem so real and specially in this context and I just think it was very well down all the way round 🇵🇱🪨✈️

One of the best of the year. The writing, cinematography, pacing, performances- all great. A terrific depiction of grief, complex family relationships, and a struggle with mental health and adjustment through change and growth. See it.

Nothing special—boring and not anything I’d want to watch again—it felt pretentious—I definitely felt bad for Benji’s character at the end who really has no one in his life so the ending helped but still nothing great
