It’s a Woody Allen movie, what’d I really expect? Did I only watch it for the cast? Absolutely. Overall the movie was surprisingly bearable. It had no real plot whatsoever, but the vibes, THE VIBES. That’s what kept me through. the movie has a really cool style for everything.

This film is not memorable enough to rank highly in the back catalogue of Allen’s New York Stories. It is merely a moment that will be lost in time, like tears in A Rainy Day In New York.

Beautiful dialogue, odd but creative characters and amazing piano pieces
Gatsby is great representation of introverted people and his dialogue between Chan is funny and romantic

I’m not quite sure why this has such bad reviews. I was different and fun. I loved Timothy and Selena’s characters in this. I hated Elle fanning character. This movie just doesn’t feel like anything I have ever watched. It also weirdly reminded me of monster inc but, I think that’s because of the music. It was also is so funny and has a charm to it. I loved it and would definitely recommend!

I really wanted to like this movie because I love Selena, elle, and timothee but the dialogue was way to fast for me that it was annoying and hard to understand what they were saying. I did like the jazz music and new york vibes but it felt misogynistic. 3/10

This whole movie has its own style that I’m not used to. It leans more towards a play than a movie. To me the acting was unpleasant at some points in the film. The ending was very good.
