A Rainy Day in New York

It’s a Woody Allen movie, what’d I really expect? Did I only watch it for the cast? Absolutely. Overall the movie was surprisingly bearable. It had no real plot whatsoever, but the vibes, THE VIBES. That’s what kept me through. the movie has a really cool style for everything.

This film is not memorable enough to rank highly in the back catalogue of Allen’s New York Stories. It is merely a moment that will be lost in time, like tears in A Rainy Day In New York.

In the style of Woody Allen, and his beloved NY, the film is dominated by the love stories that its director and screenwriter lived? or would like to have lived? .......07/10 🤷‍♂️🙏🏻👍

It was annoying, but in a good way? I want a guy like Gatsby, a romantic.
