A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master Reviews

The special effects continue to advance, particularly with a creative waterbed sequence, a hilarious human-meatball snack, and increased levels of bloodshed.

If my dad hadn’t gotten me into these when I was younger this would be a thumbs down

Not much going on here, definitely more accepting of this franchise than any other crap though

BOOOOO IDC IF THAT CAR SCRAPYARD WAS ONE OF THE COOLEST SETS OF THE FRANCHISE AND THE ASTHMA SCENE WAS SUPER CREATIVE! KILLING THE ONLY BLACK PEOPLE FROM EACH FRIEND GROUP FIRST IS SO CORNY!!! I do actually really like the muted vibe and kills of this one. It’s so much spookier.

This series must really need Wes Craven to carry its back because Jesus Christ. There was no point in making this movie and I struggled watching thru the whole thing just to see Freddy get killed by a freaking mirror. Not very memorable, acting was eh 5/10 Fav Scene - Soul Food

Probably a good movie to watch while high

10/26/26: alright. I am in the Sheila Fan Club I wish there was more Sheila. Silly. I don’t think I trust Wes Craven as a person and I don’t like how he writes things but damn he’s good at effects and using a camera

I really enjoyed some of these bizarre set pieces. The story just didn’t feel as engaging as previous entries. The real nail in the coffin was Kristen’s recasting. Forgettable and too silly.

4.5

Best one I liked

Love how you can easily see the screaming mad George influences.

This is where it loses me a bit. 4.5/10

1,9/10

Best kills in the franchise, but the start of the flanderization of freddy 7/10

I need to do a rewatch of all the series again. It's been awhile

Not Freddy pulling a Ms. Doubtfire😭

I liked it. I was under the impression this film was bad which is why I put it off for so long. But I’ve came to the conclusion this movie is a lot of fun. It has its issues but it has all the good aspects that make a good slasher and I love the sets 8.8/10

Nic mi się w tym filmie nie podobało
