The dude playing Freddy had a lot to live up to but honestly the downside of this movie wasn’t that but just everyone else

Story/movie was good. Actors were good. My problem is Freddy. Didn’t care for his make up. I thought his voice could be better. Loved that they used original scenes and Freddy vs Jason lines in this one. Also more perverted than Robert’s Freddy.

wasn't scary in my opinion but still pretty fun to watch. kind of gory, although that doesn't bother me, but don't really understand the ending? (no i havent and won't watch the original❤️)

i’m a horror fanatic so to find a movie that i genuinely dislike is hard, but this remake managed to do it. freddy isn’t scary in any manner in this movie. 1/4

I thought this was dope tbh. It’s like IKWYDLS, meets Final Destination, meets Twilight 💀 I thought the visuals were great (apart from the abysmal attempt at the stretchy wall scene), and the grungy 2000’s remake vibe fits this franchise well. Kris SHOULD’VE BEEN THE FINAL GIRL!

it was definitely a nightmare.

I was expecting horrible and I actually liked this movie it feels like a modern telling of the original with a few improvements I know everyone but hurt about Freddy being….but it’s a reboot so they can try different things and Halloween done worse (6) overall over hated 8.7/10

I think the only problem with this movie is the Freddy and the bad cgi. Other than that, I think the performances and characters are pretty good.

really weakened the scariness when they tried to make Freddy sympathetic. intro was interesting but it soon goes off the rails and really forgets the whole elm street aspect of it in favor of a preschool without elm even in the name. Freddy’s look & voice was just too goofy. 4/10

Why does it look like that 🙁

This franchise deserves the hype “Scream” gets. This particular part of Elm Street is surprisingly well done. Still, nothing beats the original, but won’t be disappointed with this one either though

Apart from the way Freddy looks and how they made him into a right weirdo, I know his story is baso he is a weirdo but this really showed that off a lil too much. Makeup was horrible on him but the actor did a decent job.
