A Nightmare on Elm Street Reviews

The dude playing Freddy had a lot to live up to but honestly the downside of this movie wasn’t that but just everyone else

Story/movie was good. Actors were good. My problem is Freddy. Didn’t care for his make up. I thought his voice could be better. Loved that they used original scenes and Freddy vs Jason lines in this one. Also more perverted than Robert’s Freddy.

Tf did they do to freddy

7/10
wasn't scary in my opinion but still pretty fun to watch. kind of gory, although that doesn't bother me, but don't really understand the ending? (no i havent and won't watch the original❤️)

TW: ill be talking about pedophilia, so if that bothers you steer away from reading this and the movie itself!

i’m a horror fanatic so to find a movie that i genuinely dislike is hard, but this remake managed to do it. freddy isn’t scary in any manner in this movie. 1/4

Shit I accidentally watched this instead of the original

I thought this was dope tbh. It’s like IKWYDLS, meets Final Destination, meets Twilight 💀 I thought the visuals were great (apart from the abysmal attempt at the stretchy wall scene), and the grungy 2000’s remake vibe fits this franchise well. Kris SHOULD’VE BEEN THE FINAL GIRL!

Second monitor, should have been 3rd

Love these movies

Mid asf to me

Pretty corny and rather predictable. It’s not terrible, but I wouldn’t watch it again nor would I recommend it to anyone

gross

most disturbing horror villain and most terrifying

Nah this movie is pretty bad tbh 4/10

I don’t think the studio ever thought this movie through very well. Nobody wants to watch a movie about making Freddy into a predator… and constantly focusing on it.

6,0/10

Was a good try. Definitely not as good and they tried to hard to make him darker. Freddy isn't that kinda character

nah

I was expecting horrible and I actually liked this movie it feels like a modern telling of the original with a few improvements I know everyone but hurt about Freddy being….but it’s a reboot so they can try different things and Halloween done worse (6) overall over hated 8.7/10

I think the only problem with this movie is the Freddy and the bad cgi. Other than that, I think the performances and characters are pretty good.
