This is insane that this is being done to people at their green card appointments. Makes me want to do more research into this!

I thought this short was really great when I first saw it, but looking back on it over a year later, it’s just now hitting me how excellent this short is. A heartbreaking message that is unfortunately important right now, conveyed with great production value.

Damn….

don’t like the way it made me feel but i guess that says a lot about it

8.7 - Maybe it just feels the most currently relevant to me personally, living in the US, but this feels like an obvious winner of the 2025 Oscar Nominated Live Action Shorts.

It’s tense & aggressive. It’s hard to watch at times. And it felt so real at times. It may be a bit forceful, but I don’t think that detracts from stories like this as badly as it would other subjects. The emotions of the conclusion were probably the strongest felt on the day I watched this & are probably the ones sticking with me most a few days later.
