Jake is "meh" on
825 Forest Road
So mediocre. There is one scene that is genuinely pretty scary and it’s just such a bummer the majority of the movie was packed with exposition and meaningless conversations. The entity is so creepy and there’s so much potential that is pretty much ruined with the acting and exposition dumps. I can look past bad acting and production if it’s scary but this just doesn’t carry it through. More scenes like the closet scene and I’d be so happy.

This has some mixed reviews and all but I really liked it. You can tell it’s low budget as far as not many effects and that works for it. It does good keeping tension and suspense and uses few jump scares but uses them effectively. A haunted house story but a story that affects the whole town and no one thinks you’re crazy. You know shit is haunted.
Also liked that they split it from the three main characters perspective. Also, except for the douche husband, no hate to the actor, you are for the main cast. Both actresses were great and do an anazing job.
Would love a prequel or sequel to it for sure. I reccomend it.
