Love films that are just pure interesting. Not as emotional as the last but has everything else. Hit after hit after hit at the end was just amazing to watch. Roll on part 3 🤞

As someone who so strongly disliked the first 28 Years Later, I was expecting this to be the same. However, I think the change in director was huge and I ended up really enjoying this! (I am not a Danny Boyle fan sorry)

There’s some nitpicky things I could complain about, some retconning of previous films in the franchise, but as a film viewed on its own merits, it’s great!

A very compelling story, interesting characters, an amazing performance from Fiennes, some truly horrific violence, and a hopeful undertone. Safe to say this pulled me back into the franchise.
