It’s one of those films where you have to be in the right frame of mind to be able to truly appreciate it. Quiet and tender, but definitely not boring when watched in the right mood.

Men scared to say menstruation is so real

Complicated, raw and insightful. Doesn’t shy away from the complexities of each individual. Very interesting characters and full life scope.

This is why you don't disregard any film that may not look like it would be for you, because this film is great. A lot of great scenes, such as "menstruation" and them dancing to Black Flag & Talking Heads lol. Plenty of great character moments and dialogue as well.

the most human film i’ve ever seen

the pacing gave me pause a bit in parts, but it was really heartfelt, funny, reverent, and well-acted

the themes are so important for nowadays, my english teacher would love this movie
