2001: A Space Odyssey

Bro idk what the fuck I just watched but it was dank as hell

I get it’s a classic, it had a cool deeper meaning and all that, but I just sat through two and a half hours worth of men floating around in space with an orchestra playing in the background. Thought-provoking ending with a boring buildup.

I can’t remember the last time a film had my complete and utter attention quite like this one. 10/10

Yes, it was ahead of its time, groundbreaking, and all of that stuff, but that doesn't necessarily mean it holds up today.
And before you say anything, yes I understood it.
A slow burn with great philosophical themes. Wouldn't recommend though.
