Imo they tried so hard yet not at all. There’s great special effects & it mimics the vibe of ghost hunter shows & what not but there’s something unserious about John Cusack in this role which is probably intentional but his smugness bothers me… plus he also looks like Shane Madej

Great psychological thriller movie with wonderful performances and fun mind bending sequences.

Non spoiler PSA: Make sure you watch the theatrical cut. The directors cut ending is garbage.

Great movie with plot twists and hidden messages/scenes that'll have you rewatching just to find more!!

one of those fun psychologically thrillers that keeps you guessing the whole time and wondering what insane things they’re gonna throw at you
not a new concept but it was done well and the fact that it has 4 different endings makes me so excited to explore them all

i wanna lock myself in a haunted hotel room just to feel something.

Tense.
According to @c.thuel we had different endings 🤠

This movie is such a classic. You literally won’t know what to expect, it’s full of suspense and it will have you questioning absolutely everything. It’s a bit confusing but definitely worth the watch once you figure out the twists. Loved it!

Saw this movie twice. Creative and physiologically thrilling. 🤯

It was an all right movie

Excellent. Kept me on my toes

love this movie

Liked it, loved it when I was a kid

Excellent movie, keeps you hooked, the old hotel setting is eerie and there’s a lot of great actors

Atmosferi ve senaryosu ile korku filminden çok psikolojik gerilim olan sağlam film 1408.Stephen King romanından uyarlanmış olması kalitesini gösteren bir diğer önemli faktör tabi, adam bu işi biliyor

damn that was an evil fucking room 7/10

is there a book on this? oh wait I'm on the internet typing this when I can literally just look this up on Google I guess, give me a second

that room is terrifying

This movie can be summarized as “Brilliant setup, aweful execution”. As soon as the room was shown the movie’s writing quality nose dived.

Didn’t really feel anything through out the film. it was entertaining for sure, but It just felt like a background movie
