idk how to really explain
it is that “motivational” movie that after u watch it u say in ur mind u r going to be grateful for what u have and all that shit but after 5 minutes u end up on ur phone not giving a fuck
and to be honest it gets kind of boring but it was okay

Can’t believe this is based off of a true story. I would’ve died on the first day.

Don’t watch if you’re claustrophobic. Probably Franco’s best performance in any film

I can’t believe this is based on a true story!! I wouldn’t have the guts to do that to my own body but I would say James Franco did an amazing job with this role. My eyes were like this 🫣 when I was watching it.

About half the movie is spent stuck in a hole & nothing much happens except what you might expect from being stuck in a hole. That’s where Franco shines in his ability to express the terror, hopelessness, pain, hope, & love of life in his effort to survive, if only in his head.

wow. I most skipped through the movie because gore freaks me out, god was with him during his whole incident ❤️

okay yeah I get it’s someone irl experience but it will still pretty boring with the guy stuck in the same position for the whole movie. I do think they really portrayed his mental state very well though with all the hallucinations and film shots.

Any film that relies on one actor to carry the movie demands a lot of its leading man but James Franco applies a youthful exuberance that makes him so watchable, it’s all viewers could do not to blink. You should watch it if you have the stomach for it, an incredible performance.

It was a 9/10 nothings perfect but this was great they would make you think he got out but it was just a hallucination then you would see how he would get him self out but if your not a big fan of gore you don’t really have to worry till the end.

It is as advertised, more focused on his mental decline. There is not much ingenuity in his escape except for a lot of guts to ultimately do what he did. I mean it’s alright

Crazy real story of survival! James Franco did an excellent job acting and the film makers did an excellent job of making, what at first glance, would seem like simple idea, Into a journey of self acceptance and reflection.

What an amazing movie. It felt emotional and heartfelt during his hallucination type things which was surprising since i was thinking it was js gonna be a movie about a guy that gets stuck in a canyon.
