Zig and Sharko

This cartoon is presumably a remake of 'Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner'. Instead of a hungry wolf, however, we got a starving hyena whereas an ostrich is replaced with a mermaid.

Even as a child when I watched this I wanted the mermaid to get eaten. Zig was so hungry and desperate and she did not deserve to live. She was pampered and privileged and didn’t even treat sharko well. At least chop off a fin or two to humble her.

I honestly hoped Zig would eat the mermaid
