So boring, why is this a marvel property? This was like 5% Marvel related. Really reaching at the bottom of the barrel pulling this property out of the woodworks. Can someone please explain to me what his power set and back story was? Because they sure did not explain that at all

literally so good. it manages to make a marvel superhero show not so entirely focused on the powers. don’t get me wrong his powers are so frickin cool but i love how the shows play out

I expected another cookie-cutter CGI fest, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a sharp buddy comedy that actually pokes fun at Hollywood rather than worshipping it.

The Director’s Eye:
Finally, a Marvel show filmed on location! Real LA streets beat green screens any day. The chemistry between Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley is the heartbeat here. Kingsley’s character seeking redemption to make his mom proud? That hit me. It’s a story about second chances. As a conservative, I thoroughly enjoyed watching them roast the egos and bureaucracy of the entertainment industry.

The Cuts:
It starts slow, setting up "meta" jokes that might fly over your head if you don't follow movie news. And honestly, superhero fatigue is still a factor here.

Verdict:
A refreshing change of pace that values friendship over "saving the world." Solid for adults, though a bit too "inside baseball" for kids.

Favorite Line: "I am an actor. The truth is merely a suggestion."

I loved this show so much to the point that I’m planning on watching it way more than three times. Since episode 1 the dynamic between Trevor and Simon had been set into motion, a beautiful dynamic.

Holy shit. It’s not even really superhero related and that’s what makes it great but what’s even better is that when the superhero aspect is involved it’s important but all in all this was a love story between Simon and Trevor. They’re endgame. This was perfect.

This was such a good series that was impactful in the storytelling that brought two unlikely friends together in the most unexpected circumstances. Marvel did such a good job with this series and it could have been so much more if they had kept going with it and I’m sad they didn’t.

Gosh this show gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling. Maybe it’s because I am also an actor with an anxiety disorder but every bit of this show captivated me, and stressed me out. Simon and Trevor’s relationship is sooo cute. Once again, the DODC are the weakest links.

8/10 - if simon williams dosent appear on my screen again, i am suing.

This series might just be one of the best things Marvel has ever made.
It has so much heart at the centre of the story and the characters are so well written and compelling. Abdul-Mateen and Kingsley are so good in their respective roles and the bromance is so fun to watch.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley, at least, share a touching bond onscreen as two lost souls who unwittingly uplift each other. However, the experience amounts to a frustrating and long meta-joke with no punchline.

9.6/10; THIS SHOW OH MY GOSH LIKE AMAZING DEF WATCH IT.

First great marvel project I’ve watched in a long time

If you liked the studio (2025), you would love this. It’s basically that but with a sprinkle of superpowers. The bromance at the centre of it was so cute.

Honestly such a fun and unique concept, I wasn't execting much from this show but I was pretty surprised by how good it was.

Hope we get to see these characters again, this was a really good one

listen i first watched Trevor be amazing in iron man 3 at 9 years old. I am now 21. Trevor is still the goat. I love him.
