Major cringe. I guess I can see this being popular with the 12-16 year olds, since it’s basically just a summary of every common trope from a teen series. Not to mention what a rip off of Hogwarts the school is. No actual character development, just very corny lines.

I fucking hated it. Plot twists are dumb af, morales are obvious and presented very straightforward, cgi/graphics are absolute trash, actors don’t know how to act bad emotions/being evil, deus ex machina and many many more. It’s more upsetting bc I was so intrigued by the project

Horrible CGI. Horribly overrated. I hate when movies/shows include corny lines trying to be relatable to today’s idea of kids/ teenagers

talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it.

I feel like they pissed all over the Addams family legacy, the characters do not act at all how they are originally meant to be like and hearing how Jenna Ortega was exhausted all the time during filming is troubling. Her love interests were boring and shouldn’t have been added.

don’t understand what the hype was about this show. it was cringe, it didn’t keep me hooked & to be honest i cant even muster up to finish the last few episodes.. lol

i keep changing my opinion on this because the more i think abt it the more i realize this show was pretty fucking garbage but if you like it good for you it’s got that riverdale appeal imo

Such a great Show! The whole cast was amazing and Tim burton hits hold with this one!!! Loved it and will refer this show to anyone 💯

I don’t think the creators actually understood the point of the Addams Family. That combined with the cringey acting and dialogue, it all leaves a bad taste in my mouth. They somehow made such an interesting character *extremely* unlikeable. The best part of the show was Thing

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! Praying, and manifesting that they renew for a second season. I was little apprehensive going in but the plot is SO SO good and the characters are not genZ afied and annoying they have actual depth !!! I recommend!

i really liked season 1, couldn’t finish season 2, just a bit boring to me

It’s okay if you got nothing else to watch.

I really enjoyed it. Jenna Ortega has a great performance, all the scenery and story is fun, this is a great way to Christina Ricci pass the flag to Jenna. Love Thing and Enid, and I really would’ve like to see more of Morticia and Gomez.

got sad when i realized i was on the last episode, truly didnt want it to end just yet 🥲 i really thought it was going to be corny like riverdale but this proved me so wrong. cant wait for the next season!

tim burton is AMAZING as always. thing is the best :)

For fans of Burton’s trademark dark aesthetic and the original Addams Family humour, there’s plenty to love, even if it’s all (beautifully) wrapped in a teen sleuthing storyline.

10/10 omg you guys all need to go watch this rn. this is definitely in my top 10 shows. Jenna Ortega was amazing as always 😍. there were so many fake plot twists, and sadly i fell for all of them 😔 but fr tho this is such a good show and i cant wait for season 2. watch it rn!! 💚
