i was not mentally prepared for this.

It’s The Summer I Turned Pretty with Pretty Little Liars, but personally, I think it ended stronger than both of those shows. The end was a fantastic twist that I didn’t see coming. Filled with good mystery and some strong emotion. Stick with it, it will all make sense in the end.

I have never read the books but now I MUST. This show has everything all wrapped in a neat little bow plus an insane plot twist. It’s basically The Summer I Turned Pretty meets Pretty Little Liars. If you are debating on watching it just DO ITTTTTTT!!!!

sooo good and SO DEVASTATING. somehow the ending was even more tragic than the book. i honestly enjoyed this adaptation more bc of how it fleshed out all the characters, especially johnny... oh my GOD JOHNNY 😭😭💔💔 it was also cool to clock all of the foreshadowing

So fucking good. The plot twist at the end omg, caught me by surprise. Cant wait for season 2. Anticipating the story behind who killed their mothers’ sister.

better than the book, the vibe is like tsitp mixed with obx with added drama, the casting was pretty accurate, plottwists and the ending 🤌

The best show I’ve watch in a long time I loved it so much but the end, the plot twist is so heart wrenching it makes me cry for about an hour even thinking about it hours you can never be emotionally ready for it I can’t even put it into words my heart will never be the same

Absolutely loved. Kind of does have a slow beginning, but the ending will punch you right in the gut… in a good way.

Bad acting, cringy and i mean very cringy and over the top dialogue. I get its a book but make it relevant. And count how many times they say sinclars.
A bit messy in terms of the family since they didn’t explain whos who etc.

This show changed me. I will still be thinking about that ending for years. The acting by the main 4 was incredible especially Emily. I loved the concept of the show and the narration so much. The way the story was told was so good too. Music and directing goosebumps.

To be honest I didn’t remember all the book. Just the plot twist. So I imagined that the story was not that good, if I could not remember.
I didn’t watch thinking it would be amazing, but was not disappointing as well. It could definitely had been done with fewer episodes.
