the acting was fantastic throughout the movie but it felt like a 5 episode show drawn out to 8 episodes. while the script had some good moments, this movie getting a like is purely on account of the actor's performing and not for the plot itself which dragged on too much

Mostly watched it for Tom Ellis being Tom Ellis and it doesn’t disappoint on that front. Good story and some nice poignant themes.

The book is ten times better. The changes made just jumbled the story too much.

I really REALLY wanted to like this, the premise and backdrops were so interesting to me, but the way it was told was just so incredibly boring. I enjoyed parts of it and definitely liked the ending, but overall just a meh.
