Thorfin and the characters arc stories r rlly good but Thorfinn needa calm tf down. Couldnt stop watching, season 1 is absolutely perfect. Def in my top 5 animes. Excited to watch season 2

I don’t actually know what to say. Me as a person who doesn’t like anime and thinks it’s cringe. This was the exact opposite. Season 1 just makes you want to watch episode after episode, and the character developments are amazing. Some might say that season 2 is worse, i disagree

If I were to recommend an anime to someone who has never seen one before, I would say Vinland Saga. It’s an anime that is grounded different from most. While at times it feels slow paced, each episode keeps you wanting to watch another. Thorfinn has the best character development in anime. This show is full of moments of hope, pain, sadness, revenge, and redemption. I’m excited to what season 3 brings. Vinland Saga is an incredible story and I recommend it if you haven’t seen it. The Son of Thors. Thorfinn is goated. 9.5/10

10/10. This anime begins as a Viking story but quickly becomes one of the deepest narratives with a powerful message and heart to fill an ocean. Season 1 is powerful, funny, and action packed. Season 2 shifts the narrative, breaks your heart, and rebuilds it piece by piece.

so far this shows a 9.8/10 only reason a 9.8 is because although the show was great and action pact and had great plot pacing and long fights and everything about the first season was basically perfect, a couple ep were boring and felt like filler

S1- We see a story of vengeance and hatred following an awesome MC in Thorfinn. The action scenes are amazing and the storyline is great. The ending was unexpected but gut wrenching. 8.5/10

YOU HAVE NO ENEMIES

This anime will make you appreciate the little good moments in life, as you followed a character who learned the same through difficult times. Greatly explored themes of anger, regret, guilt and sorrow. Amazing.

Peak story about repentance and change with the most soul touching message. Season one is just so heartbreaking that you feel inflicted by just being 4 episodes into the series. Thorfins character development was beautifully written and season 2 was a masterpiece in all aspects.

Damn I heard a lot of good things about this anime yet I could not bring myself to enjoy it 😭 I watched more than half of season 1 and stopped at some point and I don’t feel like starting again. Idk… I can’t even remember a lot, what was interesting… 😭 I am sorry

Incredible story and voice acting. Zero filler. Top 3 anime easily.

10/10 - An absolutely beautiful and powerful show and is now one of my favorite shows of all time. This show should be studied in a philosophy class. It really makes you think about the society and what kind of person you are in a world that keeps telling you to be the opposite

action is kinda good but story is trash

S1 was amazing a bit slow at the start then it picked up and got addicting. S2 felt like it was written by a whole different person it was slower than the first season and there was not that much action, all you wanna do is see Thorfin fight, but it just never happens

The 1st season is amazing besides a couple of episodes. The 2nd season was good but felt like a dlc and a little bit underwhelming. I loved most characters and it felt fully fledged out and alive. (It’s kinda hard to rate this btw)
