so underrated! amazing romantic period drama. 🤍

The series is full of historical, social and cultural errors. The characters are poorly developed on purpose. The environments are monotonous and repetitive.
I advise against viewing it for anyone looking for a work faithful to historical trends.

Came for the vibes but stayed for Philippe. Best characters are definitely Philippe, Liselotte, Chevalier and Montespan. Louis and Maintenon are the worst The show is really amazing at making you hate a character 1 season then really like them the next. The costumes are beautiful
