The premise and acting were too good I was hooked from episode 1

I just absolutely loved it and the end got me so excited for another season but I got so disappointed when I read that it was cancelled

It isn't a bad show, but it's hard not to compare it to the original British series. It focuses more on action and plot than building the slow-burning paranoia. Some characters feel less compelling, and the story rushes through ideas that had more room to breathe

This feels like a sad parody of the original, and the quality continuously dropped as the season went on.

So I accidentally watched the first 2 episodes of this one before watching the original, and I think thats the only reason I didn’t give this a thumbs down. First 2 episodes to me were crazy. My expectations were subverted constantly, and I had no idea what to expect. However after episode 2 there was a severe drop in quality and I started noticing all the flaws. I still think the first 2 episodes were done really well, and maybe did something’s even better than the first, but the casting, acting, and overall plot is severely worse-off here compared to the original.
