Twin Peaks is refreshing, unsettling, funny and mystifying. If you are the very unusual TV viewer looking for something different, the first three hours should put you in the mood for more.

I'll finish it one day but I watched a whole season and can completely understand why people would call this one the greatest shows of all time. The writing and directing are slow but very effective in pulling you into the town it's set in. You can't tell whether it's real, emphasised or paranormal, and it makes it all the more memorable. The characters each have a certain quirk or habit that you keep in check while learning about them. I didn't expect to have so much fun following Kyle MacLachlan, perfect casting. The whole cast had humour stitched into their delivery, it digs in when they're affected by the actions of some of the most horrific people you can imagine. Unfortunately, I lost the ambition to carry on watching but I know it'll come back. Love the psychology and almost sci-fi-like flare David Lynch uses in his projects though.

Love this freaky ass small town murder mystery creepy mystical girl wrapped in plastic ass show so much. It gets weirder as you keep watching and you don’t know if you’re even figuring it out or if you know everything already. Highly recommend if you wanna be mindf**ked. 10/10

It's called twin PEAKs for a reason

LOVE THIS SHOW SO DAMN MUCH! but to be so fr season 3 sucked bc it was 25 years later like at this point im sorry idgaf 😭 i could only bear to watch 3 eps of season 3. the vibes were just gone for me and the episodes had no meaning to me, season 1&2 truly were amazing

THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY 21 YEARS OF LIVING. Kyle Maclachlan is BRILLIANT. David Lynch has changed my life with this show. The cast is impeccable, the music is amazing. I’ll never find a show like this one EVER. I will reference this show until the day I die.

A show where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. At times silly and campy, while other times serious and terrifying. It’s very slow but it pulls you in with its engrossing atmosphere. There’s this sense of oppressive dread that permeates the show, and culminates in some very intense moments.

In terms of pacing, there are a lot of similarities to Deadwood; Both shows had a huge focus on character development, which in the moment made them really drag on. However once you’ve reached the end and looked back, you realize just how magical the journey truly was.

one of my favorite shows of all time. a story that goes so deep and has such a rich and unique world which examines human interaction, intention, and the complexity of what we see vs what we understand
