I feel bad I completely zoned out for most of this show and just had it on in the background while I did other things. Book was better. Some of the scenes were way too dark and I couldn’t see. I feel bad for not liking it cause it’s a good story but I just wasn’t intrigued…

Very confusing

What an incredible story

I don’t think I can adequately express how powerful this docuseries is. It’s maddening & tragic, but beautiful at the same time. The actors are incredible, compelling and their bravery in presenting the truth about slavery is commendable. This is not a binge watch - take it slow.

Not really what I was expecting. I thought it was gonna be about Harriet Tubman but she was never mentioned. It was about this slave named Cora who was kind of going back and worth between her reality and a fantasy in which a magical train appeared and went all over the country.
